Hur 1 HEROS

 Today for Hur 1 we were doing work about NZ heroes and how they have changed the world we had to do a work sheet about them.manly NZ heroes that went to war. I had to fill out a doc and answer the questions on it . here are my answers to some of the questions.

WW1

For hur 1 we are learning about WW1 today we had to answer some questions about it.

 

Parihaka poem

 For hur 1 we have been learning about parihaka today is the last day and we had to do a parihaka poem. I think I did okay but I only got one for k. I found it kinda hard to think off words because we havent done to much about it but I'm proud of what id did.

Gold Rush poetry

 For hur 1 we have been learning about the gold rush.  We had to do an acrostic poem and a poem that went like Gold is,Gold can,gold was etc. We either used real facts but we also were allowed to use are imagination.

The new Zealand Gold rush

For hur 1 we have been learning about the gold rush in New Zealand.i dont know much about the gols Rush i just know it was in the late 1800.

Why study History

For Hurmanu 1 we have been Learning stuff about history.Three main Historic events that happened in New Zealand are The Musket wars, Matariki and Te Titri o Waitagi. I don't know anything about my history and who would have fought in the war if they did. Here are three more recent events that happened in New Zealand....... Corona Virus, Mosque Attack and White island volcano eruption. We are listening to chapters from Gavin bishop's book 'Piano Rock'. He says he values his heritage because.."Mum's dad was Tainui, from waikato. It's enormously important and it's been a source of inspiration and ideas, thinking about what life must have been like for my grandfather and his siblings"
